Busy
May 05, 2007
It's been a busy week. We have been going, going, going. Wednesday Kate's school had their annual parade. Kate's class made woodpecker hats out of newspaper and trumpets out of paper towel rolls. They marched around the block with very serious looks on their faces, waving to the parents. She is with her best buddy, Lainie, in the photo. These two are funny girls.
Thursday my mom and I shopped around and ran errands. My MOO cards came! I don't know why I waited so long to get these. Fun and cute!
Friday, we celebrated my dad's birthday.
Mint julep cake. Yum! Want a piece, Susan?
Hope your weekend is great!
The girls look so cute.
I've been meaning to order moo cards... but I wasn't sure about the quality... does the type on the backside look solid? They are much smaller than I thought...but still really cute!
That cake looks yummy!

As soon as I have enough worthy photos I'm getting myself a set of moo cards too.
That cake looks yummy! We're going to a Derby Party this afternoon and will have REAL mint juleps. I can't wait.

aren't those girls just so lovely in their wonderful world? I got some moo cards recently (must blog them) and I am absolutely delighted with the quality of these little cards. I'm going to use them as tags on my homemade things. That cake lloks so gorgeous, did you make it? Recipe please? Oh and that twirly skirt...I'm going to make my two little granddaughters one each! It's a darling pattern and the instructions are so clear and precise. Thank you!

You have cute woodpeckers. I, on the other hand, have the kind that peck holes in my house and rat-a-tat-tat beginning at 5:30 each morning. Wanna trade?
