If all goes well
December 10, 2007
...my ornaments will be mailed out today.
If I spoiled your surprise, I am sorry. They are so cute - I just couldn't wait.
The pattern is from Last Minute Patchwork and Quilted Gifts. I had something else in my mind until I saw Kristin's version and the vintage patchwork fabric sitting on top of the red corduroy in my studio. I knew right then. I was supposed to make these birds. Enough said.
I feel a bout of photo posts coming on. Thanks for the suggestion, Susan.
oh, i love them! your swap group will love ::you.::

*so sweet!* I think I will have to grab my copy of that book out of the craft room and get sewing! I am in the mood for a simple sweet project today and I think those are just the thing.
Have a great week =)

Oooh! They're gorgeous, and I've been told that someone has bought me that book for Christmas, and so now I'm even more desperate to peek inside it!

Those look fabulous, Erin! The red and the patchwork is perfect.
I think I'm in need of some photo posts too, but I have a hard time doing that.

These are adorable! I just put photos of the ones I made for my mother for Christmas up on my flickr account (http://www.flickr.com/photos/amyandthomas/2100191676/ and http://www.flickr.com/photos/amyandthomas/2099412141/ ), though I haven't managed to title the photos or anything. These really turn out cute in a myriad of fabric combinations. Nice job! And that rick rack was a stroke of genius! But I'm pretty much a sucker for anything with rick rack. :)

i am in love with those! i tried to make my own pattern a few months ago for bird ornaments. it didn't really work out very well. a good reason to get this book, because now I am in love with yours! I like how you can leave something like this out all year long if you wanted to.

These are so so good. You're right, that combination is so perfect. And you are the best at making things in multiples Erin. Why is that so hard for me?
