It's a Friday in February...ho hum. Just think in two more weeks it'll be March. That gives me hope.
Not much happening over here. I've been making x's like crazy. Well, not too crazy - I have three done. They each take me a little more than an hour - an hour and a half if I obsess about the random factor. So really, they take an hour and a half each. Who am I kidding? I hope to finish the entire quilt top by next weekend. If I make an x a day that is entirely do-able. If I stop obsessing about pattern and color, it will be a piece of cake. Wish me luck.
Jennifer has received my quilt square. I love it and she likes it so all is well. Pop on over to the virtual quilting bee group on Flickr. I love how it is coming together!
Tomorrow looks promising - I have a sewing class to learn how to use my Bernina Stitch Regulator (woo hoo!) and a date with my man (yippee!). Hope your weekend holds just as much promise. Enjoy!
I'm a relative new reader of your blog, but already a big fan. I never heard of a gocco printer before, but I like your prints so much I'm ordering one this weekend.
You'll love Juno! That's of course if you like quirky, indie flims. I liked Ellen Page in it so much that I rented "Hard Candy". She's good in that one too, but it's a little disturbing.

I've been dreaming about the Bernina Stitch Regulator. When did you get it? I thought you had a Babylock machine (like me). Please let us know how you like the BSR.

Ok, so I'm not the only one who obsessively quilts-by-numbers? The entire time I'm doing the top, I'm self-talking "Ok, if I do 17 on Friday, that will leave 32 for next week...." Sigh.

I can't wait see Jennifer's quilt.
I got really excited about the BSR but then saw that it won't work on my antique...:-(
Have a great weekend. We have some fun planned too.

I've been worried about March's fast approach and the fact that Easter is so early this year and that I haven't started one project.
Good luck getting your X's done, I can't wait to see them all. I love the virtual bee square.

for randomness, you can just throw all your fabric in a paper bag and pull out one piece at a time. then you have to use that piece. I've done this with varied success...only breaking the rules if it is a repeat fabric. It actually works pretty well.

Do you use your Bernina sewing machine more or your Baby Lock sewing machine more?
My husband is out of town, but it would be much better if we were having a date tonight. Oh well. I hope we get to go see Juno as well.
February's not *so* bad, yk. My birthday is in 9 days. Hee hee hee.

Oh, Juno is so excellent... I hope you love it. The soundtrack is the only thing that gets me through some days. : )
