Monkey-ing around
September 03, 2008
Our nephew Kenan turned 1 on Sunday and a t-shirt was requested. I couldn't refuse!
So here it is - I did finish it in the carpool line last week. I think the monkey is a bit, um, robust. Cute, still, but if I do one like this again, I think I will slim him down a bit.
Off I go...I have a yoke to tangle. Finally.
oh how cute...even if he is a bit chubby! I like him just the way he is!

It made me smile - we used to call Johnny 'chunky monkey'. They need to have a bit of something to cuddle no?

maybe he lives right in the banana tree?
He turned out really cute.

I'm going to guess that Kenan still has a baby belly too so they can be twins! I can't wait to see the sweater.

A robust monkey is a cute monkey, if you ask me. Love the idea of you finishing it in the carpool line!

I love that you put him on a striped shirt instead of a plain one. That totally makes the shirt right there. Very cute!

I looked at this an imagined me in it , because Kenan is so much like Keana.....and since I got my older boy cousins hand me downs I probably have worn a shirt very similar.

It's so cute :o) Well done! I have a thing for baby monkeys... there's one on the banner of my blog. The name Kenan is really nice as well.
