In the bag
December 16, 2008
Last night, I started a new project. I think this will be the last big sewing project of 2008. It's for the craft swap on Thursday night and there is only one. We all draw numbers, open a gift and then steal from each other - lots of fun.
I have to keep it under wraps until Friday, but I am pretty much in love with it. So in love that I am hoping for the last pick so I can steal it back for myself. That's allowed, right? I knew you'd back me up.
yes, totally allowed, *wink*, but only if you show pictures! sounds interesting!

We had a little gift swap last night and they are fun.
And yes, you can steal it back in the end.

Totally allowed. Not that *I* would ever do such a thing. But you are allowed. ;)

Amazing that you can start a project three days before it's due (knowing that you'll finish and it will be awesome!).

Oh yeah. That is TOTALLY allowed!! :)

we got clobbered this afternoon by the snow- hope you had similarly snowy weather to craft in!

You can always bribe the person who is supposed to draw last to take their place.. I've had to do that before in Dirty Santa :D

I'm thinking this is going to end up something like your project you made when you went away for your bday weekend...just a guess! And yes you can totally steal back your gift, just don't rub in how you ended up w/ the most awesome gift!

All's fair in love and craft swaps is what I say.

Of course. There is no point making or buying something that you don't want yourself. Just in case :)

Sounds like fun giving out gifts- homemade too. I'll be honest, I don't like the exchange/ steal game. I never want to take anything away from some one else.

MY FINGERS HURT!!! I still have about 5 hours of work left, but at least I can see the light at the end of the tunnel.
HA! I wonder who's going to be brave enough to nick it back from you!
