I like the skirt too. I love the feeling of finishing something, and then realizing it worked out as well as you'd hoped. I want to sew clothes too because anything that isn't from a discount mass merchant, seems to be incredibly expensive. I guess you've just got to get started and see how it goes. I love how your skirt seems to remind me of modern style, but also traditional quilting elements. I am curious about the top, if it's elastic. You continue to be an upbeat inspiration to me in my own adventures in the sewing room. I missed not visiting for a while but now I've rediscovered your blog. Thanks again as always best wishes.
