More than good enough
September 28, 2009
Just dropping by to say hello.
Hello.
Outside the leaves are rustling, the sun is shining and the sky is clear. It's been in the 60's all day - yay for fall! I have mums and kale to plant and even a few leaves to rake. Each time I look down I smile. Green boots will do that to a girl.
Now I am off to make applesauce and hunt down a 4th grade math textbook. Just thought I'd throw that little nugget of disorganization to let you know that while today is mighty good, it's not perfect. No day ever is. And that is fine with me. I'll take what I can get.
Happy Monday. I hope your day is more than good enough, too.
love the boots!

Love the boots! Thinking of buying my kidlets and me each a pair. Perfect for nature study, camping and a rainy day.
Love your quilt blocks. Makes me long to pull out my scraps.

I wish it were in the 60s here...more like 90s! Begging to wear a pair of jeans and boots would be nice too!

Those boots make me very happy. Love.
My day is pretty good except for that laundry pile waiting to be folded. Maybe I need to go to the nursery instead.

I'm green with envy over those boots. There is something magical about the light and crisp air when the season changes to Fall!

I love coloured boots! My red boots make me smile :)
I want to plant decorative kale or cabbage this year... last year I planned to but procrastination got the better of me!

I love the green boots. I have a pair of green Doc Martens that I bought in college but now feel I can only wear when it's snowing. At least I have cute snow shoes.

That's something my Grandma always said... "You take what you can get in this world." I'm inclined to agree!

good enough is more than enough, most days. and we just picked forty pounds of apples, and I sure would love to hear how you make-a-the-sauce in the house on hill road.

The last few mornings have been crisp here too and I can see the colors in the corn and soybean fields starting to change. The seasons are starting to shift.
I spotted wisps of a green sweater in your photo. The brisk morning makes a girl want to knit.

I don't know why this picture makes me think of it but I'm looking forward to your color theme weeks, or other people's color theme weeks that you participate in also.
