Resurfacing
January 13, 2010
Last thing I remember, I wrote that I was going to make an effort to be more present in this space and then I disappeared for a week. Nothing earth shattering kept me away. Life happens and I am happy that I have been busy living it. I don't imagine that will change anytime soon. Unpredictability suits me at the moment.
I've also been knitting. And keeping all fingers and toes crossed that my one last skein of yarn will be enough to finish the sleeves.
Have a great day.
Ver nice cardigan, I like the colour. So bright and cheery.

Isn't it funny how guilty you can feel not posting on a blog regularly? I know I have a hard time with it to, but I have to be honest with myself and acknowledge the fact that I'm spending my time with the people I love instead of my computer.
By the way- love the color of the sweater!

Love the sweater. Crossing my fingers that your yarn is enough.

Sounds like you've got a good handle on Blog Guilt-- it's good to keep it in check! That's a beautiful green.

looking great, Erin! I'm at just about the same point on mine...and now I'm losing the desire to finish it. Damn sleeves!!

Knit faster - it warps the space time continuum and makes the yarn go further. Not really, but I can't help doing it.
You could always embrace the 3/4 length sleeve, if not!

It looks great! That looks like enough yarn to me. Can't wait to see it done.

pretty shade of green. I like the bottom band on the sweater. 3/4 sleeves would be look good with this pattern!

this is just the type of pattern i've been looking for...perfect with a skirt or jeans! i guess i'll add it to the ever growing list of projects i'm starting to avoid finishing others....sigh.

I love the simple cardigan. One of my goals for the new year is to knit a garment (we have more than enough mittens and hats in these parts). You'll have to let us know if it's true to size. I might have to give this one a try.
Crossing my fingers that your yarn doesn't run out .....

I'm happy if I manage to blog once a week. I usually don't. But I suppose it's just healthy :)
I have been knitting too, only socks though. Love your cardigan!

I'm crossing my fingers for you--what a pretty sweater--I guess you could always go for 3/4 sleeves?!

Oh, I wish that was my sweater, and that I could knit much faster and much better. Love it.
