Happy Home - Review and Giveaway
Hand stitched t-shirt

Hey there.

Granny week 4

Summer is busy. I thought I'd get here earlier this week, but it just did not happen.

I am managing to get my crochet homework done each week. And I have one of my hand stitching projects finished, too. I'll show and tell just as soon as I get some one to take photos of me wearing it.

Someone asked for lime cocktail recipes...I'm working on that, too. I have a new one that I'm excited to share.

Camera strap colorways have been chosen. Realistically, the shop will be restocked in July. I'm also working on another item for the shop. I'm super excited about it. Giddy, in fact.

I best go. There's a field hockey game starting in a half hour. I'll be yelling loudly for Jane and under my breath for Kate as she has forbidden me to cheer for her.  So be it.

Back soon.

That's rough. When did we go from being the coolest, and their best friends,to being embarrassing. Boo. It makes me sad. I would say that it's a girl thing, because my son's older, and still thinks I rock ! But my daughter finds me uhmmm......

My camera vanished into thin air two weeks ago. Really. We've checked all possible options. Only remaining one seems to be that I somehow failed to lock my car door on one errand stop and someone stole it from my front seat (largely buried under a mound of raincoats, tote bags, other mom gear). But as no errands were more than about 10 minutes and in very busy places, this seems unlikely. So I'm going with the great Britishism of "it's gone missing". Puts the blame on the object rather than me!
Anyway, I mourn its loss primarily for the images forever lost on its memory card. And then my second line of grief is for my gorgeous House on Hill Road camera strap! Nooooooo was all I could think! Fortunately, I ordered myself a new one last year to tuck away for the future. So I guess it will be making friends with a new Nikon soon. But still sad to think I'll not see that gorgeous (second group you ever did I believe) one again! Sniff.

I just caught up with my homework and am eager for the next assignment. I hated when my dad cheered for me. It made me tense and distracted. I wanted him there, but he had to keep quiet. I asked my kiddos what they wanted and it was a split decision. Hope the game went well.

The squares are looking good! Good luck with this weeks "homework". Should be fun!
